Probable valve train issue, cam rollers have been known to go bad, in which case the camshaft(s) could be damaged. If repaired the timing chain components should be replaced (with OEM) when engine is torn down.
- Clean engine and check for oil leak around engine or transmission.
- Connect scanner to vehicle and check reason for check engine light coming on, Clear all codes, Test drive and recheck for hard codes. (Diagnostic 1 or 2 will need to be ran on returning codes)
